We made this Poppy panel which measures 5 x 7 inches designed from a painting we bought while in Victoria BC. this past July 2015. It was given as a gift by our young granddaughter’s parents to her daycare provider who was returning to school. Their 2 1/2 year old daughter had a wonderful time at her 1st daycare home and they wanted to honour her dedication and help she provided for their daughter Poppy.
The next picture is the painting from which our stained glass design was taken from. The painting was done by Patricia K. Plank and she gave us her blessing to make a stained glass rendition.

If you check out our first posting titled “Chewie” you can learn about this wonderful dog who passed away several years ago. We showed “Chewie” many times at our markets, unfortunately he fell off a table a few years ago at one of our markets and had to be completely rebuilt.
A few weeks ago we took him out to the Sunshine Coast in British Columbia and he now hangs in Rene & Laurel’s home over looking the ocean. As “Chewie” was their dog for many years they are more than pleased that he will now be with them in stained glass for years to come. Enjoy

The glory of springtime when one drives our Alberta country side and the joy of seeing a mare with a new born foal. We made this suncatcher many years ago for year round enjoyment.

Island Lake panel now has all of it’s final pieces cut and rough ground. Now all that remains is for these pieces to be fitted then foiled and once that it done the panel will be ready for soldering
