Noel – Christmas 2013

We made this Noel for Christmas 2013 and photographed it with a winter wonderland background. If we remember correctly it was a sunny Alberta day but very cold.

A Change of Scenery

For the past 3 weekends we have had a big dump of snow, with melting and street snow removal in between.

We did manage to put up our Christmas lights on our home and the Colorado Green Spruce tree in our front yard during a few days of much warmer weather after the first 2 weekends of winter storms.

This weekend, November 16 we were once again hit with another winter blast, except this snow storm’s snow was lighter, with less moisture, coupled with high winds, whiteout conditions and much colder temperatures. Our winter wonderland is no doubt here to stay till next April 2014.

For those of you from around the world who view our website and Facebook enjoy our outdoor festive tree.

Valentine’s Red Heart/Christmas Ornament

This Red Heart with a bevel center was made in 2007 and besides being a great Valentine’s gift, it can also be used as a Christmas Tree Ornament.

Christmas Tree Mice Ornaments

Each year we like to make a Christmas Tree Ornament and this is our 2012 selection. The red cherry Spectrum Waterglass always shows a neat effect when hung on your tree, with the effects of your Christmas Tree lights shinning through this glass. One can also enjoy them year round as a window suncatcher.

Blue Bird Caroler

We just made this Blue Bird Caroler which is for sale along with other Christmas items at the White Raven Emporium in Didsbury Alberta. This would certainly brighten and add to your Christmas decorations. It is small enough that it could also be used as a Christmas Tree ornament.
