Abstract Garden Scene Panel 2021

In mid 2021 a client in the west county of Alberta had a idea for a stained glass panel for his wife. The second photo shows the conceptual idea. Using our Glass Eye 2000 – Dragonfly software program we created the panel design, along with input from our client and picking the glass that we used.

The panel measures approximately 12 inches wide by 18 inches high. We used a combination of Oceanside, Sky Blue Wispy, Orange White Wispy, Cherry Red Rough Rolled/Waterglass, Rainforest, and an older piece of Spectrum Green that we had in our inventory. The panel was framed with 1/2 Zinc came.

The second picture is of our clients original design concept.

The next photo is of the design pattern.

This last photo was taken by our client with sunlight reflecting the panels colors on their stove top.

Circle Dragonfly 2021

Earlier this fall our client wanted to give away a Dragonfly suncatcher to a customer.

This circle dragonfly is approximately 8 inches in diameter

For the wings we used a one of a kind blue Uroboros sheet of glass. In addition to the Glue Chip background we attached 3 red nuggets as requested by our client.

We edged it with a brass border came and attached a fine silver chain which completed this suncatcher.

Celtic Cross and Thistle 2021

We were asked by a friend who belongs to The Order of The Eastern Star, to make this Celtic Cross as a gift for the incoming Worthy Grand Matron. It measured approximately 7 inches wide by 10.5 inches high and was symbolic of the WGM’s emblems.  We use black cathedral glass with clear granite for the Celtic knots.

Sloth with a Poppy 2021

This Sloth measures approximately 6 inches wide x 5.5 inches high. We attached a poppy flower to it as our granddaughter Poppy wanted to give it to her teacher, who was retiring from teaching last June and who loved Sloths.
