Sprint Racing Car

This Sprint Racing Car was made many years ago from a photo for our son Greg who wanted to give it as a gift to one of his racing friends in Edmonton, Alberta.  The center of the wheels was made using sheet foil with a thin layer of solder which gives the chrome look. Greg helped to complete the car by adding the lettering.

Stock Race Car

Some 10 plus years ago we had a client commission us to make from a photograph a stained glass panel of a stock race car.

Flory did the art work on the car and together we came up with the panel design from the photograph,  it was a neat commission that our client gave as a gift.

Horse Shoe

Over the years we have made a few of these, in fact a similar one hangs in our home and it was the first piece of stained glass that Bob made some 14 years ago.

Cattle Brand Soderglen Ranches Ltd.

If our memory serves us correctly we were asked by friends of the owners of Solderglen Ranches Ltd located north of Airdrie Alberta to make this panel of their Cattle Brand. We used  red Bullseye glass for the brand and border. Having a diamond saw allowed us to make the S in one piece.

Scroll Saw Sailing Ship

Our friend Allan Couper of Innisfail made many different scroll saw pieces which were designed in such a way that we could slide a piece of stained glass into the item which was then securely held in place with a wooden insert held in place with small brass screws.

Together we made only a few of these items and unfortunately Allan is no longer able to work his magic with his scroll saw, so those clients who purchased them are indeed very fortunate to have Allan’s gifted work coupled with stained glass.

Here is the scroll saw sailing ship with a  stained glass red sky in the evening – sailors delight –
