Bumble Bee

Summer time and there are lots of these big Bumble Bees enjoying the nectar of blooming flowers.

We made this in June 2012 for the son of good friends. He likes to give his teacher a piece of stained glass and in this case this teacher has a great fondness for Bumble Bees.

Sunflower

Springtime is just around the corner and lots of prairie folks are thinking about their plans for beautiful flower gardens. Of course sunflowers are just what the doctor ordered to brighten the lands.

With spring arrival lots of sunflower seeds are planted, which transcend into beautiful sunflowers with their huge seed pods. You can enjoy this beauty year round with a stained glass sunflower. This is one we made in March 2016.

Butterfly Trio

We made this a number of years ago for a daughter in law, who lives near Edmonton, Alberta which has lots of snow and cold for many months during the winter, however this trio of butterflies brightens their home year round.

Bluebirds – “There’s No Place Like Home”

Many years ago we made this “There’s No Place Like Home” and donated it as a silent auction item for a Good Sam Samboree in Stettler, Alberta. This stained glass piece is approximately 10 inches square, tinned wire used for various parts along with attaching the Blue Birds creates a 3D effect.

This design was featured in Glass Patterns Quarterly Summer 2001 edition.
