In Celebration of Innisfail’s 50th Anniversary of their Figure Skating Club we donated this pair of figure skates. For the chrome blades we used mirror glass and the 50 was cut from Spectrum Black Cathedral and overlaid on the skates using E6000 glue.
Sprint Racing Car
This Sprint Racing Car was made many years ago from a photo for our son Greg who wanted to give it as a gift to one of his racing friends in Edmonton, Alberta. The center of the wheels was made using sheet foil with a thin layer of solder which gives the chrome look. Greg helped to complete the car by adding the lettering.

Stock Race Car
Some 10 plus years ago we had a client commission us to make from a photograph a stained glass panel of a stock race car.
Flory did the art work on the car and together we came up with the panel design from the photograph, it was a neat commission that our client gave as a gift.

Figure Skater
In 2013 the Innisfail Figure Skating club asked us for a donation. We found a design by Chantal Pare which Flory reworked to our liking along with simplification and less number of pieces of stained glass. We used fine silver chain for the skate laces. The skater measures 8 inches high x 7 inches wide.
