Loon Panel Spring of 2011

In the spring of 2011 we made this Loon panel which was commissioned as a gift by the Order of Eastern Star. The panel measures 16 inches wide by 9.5 inches high. The body of the Loon was made from one piece of Spectrum’s Black/White/Clear Baroque. For the hills we used a Uroboros Herringbone and the lighter blue in the water was Spectrum’s Sky/Blue wispy and the darker water glass was a Kokomo.

Chili Children March 2014

In early 2000 we made a couple of these and forgot to take a picture, seems we did it again. However this time we made 4 different Chili Children and had to take photos after we had delivered them in March 2014 to The White Raven Emporium in Didsbury. The measure approximately 7 inches high with various Chili Children attached at different places. The red glass used is Spectrum’s Cherry Red Cathedral.

Circle Star Winter 2013

For this Circle Star we used Spectrum’s Granite Iridescent glass for the star, the red blue glass was Bullseye and the surrounding purple was a Kokomo 865 TRIP. This suncatcher measured approximately 5 inches x 7 inches.

Small Hummingbirds Spring 2014

These whimsical small very colorful hummingbirds are always a great inexpensive gift idea. We just sent a lot of these to The Wild Bird Store in Calgary.

Chickadees Spring 2014

Here are 3 of 4 Chickadees made this spring for The Wild Bird Store in Calgary, they measure approximately 5 x 3 inches. We like to use Kokomo 1075 & 1076 for chickadees. For the branch we use a piece of copper electric 14 gauge wire, cleaned with steel wool and tinned. These birds are all cleaned several times in the process with Kwik Clean, black patina applied and finally Kem-Pro stained glass polish.
